Web Design & Development

Print Media Opportunity

Do you know what makes Silicon Valley a famous place? Ever wondered what it must be like to get involved with fast-growing high-tech companies?

Par Equity is a small, venture capital firm and we would like to improve our brand presence and communication capability.

For this, we require highly innovative designs, compelling content and quality implementation and require a team of creative experts to join us. Initially, we are looking for a:

Lead Creative

To paint us an overall compelling vision and coordinate the project as a whole:

  • a brand review
  • online client service design
  • style guidelines including a new colour palette
  • website design and development
  • commissioning web-content

To be successful you will:

  • be confident around people, probably a little pushy, ambitious, organised and able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment
  • be an excellent writer and communicator
  • have a strong network of friends and professional contacts who are experts in their individual fields – for example:
  • Service User Experience designers to accurately select colour palettes, given our target client base of;
  • Web-designers and developers
  • Graphic designers, photo & video editors
  • Print-designers

We assume you’ll have solid design background(s) and may have already worked for a media agency, or web-development shop. And of course be used to working and partying hard!!

The bottom line – we:

  • Will pay you a competitive fee(s)
  • Are based in Edinburgh, but you wouldn’t need to be there every day
  • Want to see sample of your work and speak with people who can vouch for your core skills
  • Want you to start yesterday (seriously, as soon as possible..)

We would also welcome applications from newly formed enterprising creative teams (a start-up Digital Agency, for example). Please send a very short email in the first instance, explaining:

  • what interests you about the opportunity and
  • what relevant experience you have

In the first instance send your email, no later than Friday 24th July to: Libby Anson – Student Employment & Enterprise Manager
