Artist’s Bursary Award 2017

Each year, as part of our commitment to encourage promising new artists, the Pittenweem Arts Festival awards an artist’s bursary. The successful applicant will benefit from a bursary package of £1000, which includes an exhibition venue, and covers accommodation for ten days and expenses. Established in 1982, the Pittenweem Arts Festival is a major visual arts event. Based in an historic fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife, the festival attracts over 25,000 visitors every August. It provides the ideal platform for artists to promote their work to both the public and international art professionals.

We are delighted to accept applications from:

• Final year degree students from any Scottish School of Art

• Graduates within the last five years from any Scottish School of Art

The Bursary Award winner will be selected and notified by the end of March. Please read carefully the conditions of acceptance on the application form.

The deadline for applications is March 15th 2017.
